Despite the amazing services provided by TCSG (Tremough Campus Services Group) it was perceived as a dry and uninspiring company. The methods of expression to the staff and students were not at all representative or engaging.
To get to the heart of why the disconnect was so accute and the possibilities of a new name, we kick-started a rigorous strategy programme. This involved a mix of staff and students which uncovered numerous insights and ideas. These formed the backbone of a new brand proposition and name, FX Plus.
Due to the campus’s expanse, number of operations, departments and staff size the brand’s application required a flexible system. The brand components had to reveal themselves at every point of contact on the student’s journey. Sometimes they were almost subliminal and others more surprising! The ribbon element could twist, move, deconstruct, split and reconfigure at any given moment.
Just as the client was a partnership, so was the team formed to complete an exhaustive list of requirements both on and off-line. We collaborated with long-time partners Believe-in and Prize to deliver environmental graphics, workwear, literature, virals, and detailed guidelines including their tone of voice.
